Muddy Rice Paddy

"Rice Paddies are flooded parcel's of arable land used for growing semiaquatic rice, to this day rice remains a staple food in most of Asia, in feudal Japan peasant Ashigaru would often eat rice as part of their rations sometimes using there metal helmets as cooking pot's while in the field." 

These rice paddies are from irregular miniatures i had to request for them specifically as they were part of a set, to make this terrain I glued the Metal pieces to a coaster before painting and flocking and adding water effects, these particular irregular miniatures ended up being a bit more pricier then I would have liked I think next time I will try and build the rice paddies from scratch.
